Resistorless dual-mode quadrature oscillator using a single CCCCTA and two grounded capacitors

In this study, an electronically tunable resistorless dual-mode quadrature sinusoidal oscillator, based on current controlled current conveyor transconductance amplifier (CCCCTA) and two grounded capacitors is presented. The proposed resistorless oscillator employs a single CCCCTA and two grounded capacitors and thus is well suited for integrated circuit implementation. The proposed circuit is resistorless and the tuning laws for the oscillation condition and oscillation frequency are independent. Two voltage-mode signals and two high output impedance current-mode signals each pair with 90 phase difference are available in the proposed circuit. H-Simulation program with integrated circuit emphasis (H-Spice) simulations using Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) 0.18 μm complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology process parameters are given to validate theoretical predictions.
